Stevie is a bright young 7 year old girl with a great passion and spirit for life.
Today, Stevie is recovering from her challenge with Medulloblastoma. Her journey has been an experience no one can ever be prepared for.
On July 15th, 2009 Stevie was diagnosed with a brain tumor known as Medulloblastoma, a malignant cancer most often affecting children between ages of 2 and 5 years old.
Until just five years ago treatment options were limited, today thanks to amazing research the odds are getting better.
The experienced physicians, nurses and hospital support staff at Herman Memorial Childrens Hospital and M D Anderson Childrens Cancer Hospital in Houston, Texas provided exceptional care for Stevie. Their expert knowledge and capable staff of doctors and nurses are handling her case if she were their own. Today Stevie is recovering and has regular MRI scans in Lafayette, Louisiana under the expert supervision of Dr. Ammar Morad.
